Graduation/Move/NEW JOB!

3 BIG pieces of news in one post:

1) The first week of May 2021, I graduated from the Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design at GSU with my MFA in Sculpture. I grew so much during the past three years and am incredibly grateful for the opportunity and lifelong friends that were made...PLUS I can check that off of my bucket list now.

2) I spent a big chunk of January/February of this year applying for dreamy jobs/opportunities and (despite numerous rejections) IT PAID OFF! I got hired as the Wood Studio Coordinator at Penland School of Craft. My first official day was May 22, 2021. I work in a beautiful studio and get to facilitate educational opportunities for artists coming from all over the world. penland.org

3) This also means that my home base is now in Bakersville, NC. I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains and although I will miss a lot about Atlanta, I'm pretty content living under quiet green canopies among the lightning bugs.
